This summer, we're shifting the style of this class a bit as Erin Mathiason brings Anusara-Inspired teachings to this time slot. Anusara-style yoga was created and developed in the 1990's by JOHN FRIEND, a charismatic, funny, dedicated yogi who draws from his decades of study in Iyengar yoga and incorporates a heart-centered, heart-opening VINYASA-style of practice. The word "Anusara" means "FLOWING WITH GRACE", "following your heart". An Anusara practice integrates Friend's Universal Principles of Alignment with heart-opening Tantric Yoga philosophy. You'll LOVE this practice! Thanks for checking out the classes we offer at Yoga Oasis! HOPE WE'LL BE SEEING YOU SOON! |
